[Music + TV: Written By Brianna]

I’m so flattered that Christianna has let me guest post for her! She is the greatest, isn’t she?? And maybe I’m more than a LITTLE jealous of her trip. Okay a lot. I have to sit and clean people’s teeth all day while she travels the world. sigh. oh well, such is life isn’t it? ;) Oh, I forgot... I’m Brianna and you can find me over here, most days, so stop on by sometime! 

Since miss Christianna has this AWESOME music blog, I wanted to stay with the music subject for my post... I thought about it, and I have very eclectic taste in music.

Really, in a recently played list on my ipod/computer/phone you can find country, rock, rap, pop, classical- straight up BACH will be there. So I’m kinda ambiguous when it comes to what I like to play.

But I will say that I find a lot of music I like from the TV shows I watch. A lot of the time I will be watching something, hear a song, even if it’s in the background, and automatically look it up and download it.

I thought I’d share some of my TOP favorite songs/artists and the shows I found them on (: Cuz everyone can do with new music suggestions AND tv show recommendations. ;)

One Tree Hill 

WHO HAS WATCHED THIS SHOW AND HASN’T LOVED IT? (the shouty caps were necessary ;) )

-Kate Voegele- her rendition of “Hallelujah” is amazing. and her songs are pretty great too, pop, if you’re into that (which obviously I am!)


-Jose Gonzalez “Heartbeats”- this is probably one of my all-time favorite songs!


-The Weepies- “World Spins Madly On”


-Jana Kramer- “What I Love About Your Love” - She JUST released her debut album (It’s country) and I’m loving it already!

-Lykke Li- “Get Some”- TRY to not dance around while listening to this song, just TRY.
